EnglishShutdown the old desktop / ZPOD
- Check whether the old desktop / ZPOD is currently running:
- Put your mouse over the Zinstall tray icon [?] - this will cause a tool-tip text to appear.
- If the text says: "Zinstall new desktop ( Running )" - that means the old desktop is currently running
- If the text says: "Zinstall new desktop ( Off )" - that means the old desktop is NOT running and there's no need to do anything further to shut it down.
- If the old desktop is running:
- Switch to old desktop / ZPOD
- Right click on Zinstall tray icon [?] on the old desktop / ZPOD
- Click on "Shutdown old desktop" / "Shutdown ZPOD"
- Wait for the old desktop to shut down
- You will now be switched back to the new desktop / host computer, with the Zinstall old desktop / ZPOD properly turned off.
- Note, that the Zinstall host utility is still running on the new desktop / host computer. Click here for instructions for closing it
