"No such interface" error when launching Control Panel or Explorer after migration with WinWin
This is a known issues caused by migration of incompatible versions of Internet Explorer.
Solution 1
- If running on 64 bit Windows:
- Download http://www.pcwinwin.co.uk/sto/tools/ie8-rereg/ie8-rereg.32on64.cmd
- Right click on ie8-rereg.32on64.cmd and select "Run As Administrator"
- Download http://www.pcwinwin.co.uk/sto/tools/ie8-rereg/ie8-rereg.64on64.cmd
- Right click on ie8-rereg.64on64.cmd and select "Run As Administrator"
- If running on 32 bit Windows:
- Download http://www.pcwinwin.co.uk/sto/tools/ie8-rereg/ie8-rereg.cmd
- Right click on ie8-rereg.cmd and select "Run As Administrator"
- Restart your computer.
