Windows requests security approval every time Zinstall is run

This behaviour is caused by Windows mistakengly classifying Zinstall as an application which has to be run in "compatibility mode".

To resolve this:

  1. Open the "regedit" tool
    1. Open Start Menu
    2. In the search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter
  2. On the left, you will see "folder" for different registry entries.
  3. Find the following subpaths. In each path, DELETE the keys with Zinstall in them from the window on the right:
    1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

    2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Compatibility Assistant\Persisted

    3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags

    4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

Once done, reboot your computer.
